Nadym is a town situated in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug region of Russia. It is located along the banks of the Nadym River.
The population of the settlement has experienced fluctuations over recent decades. According to census data, the population was 52,586 during the 1989 Soviet census, decreased to 45,943 in 2002, and stood at 46,611 as of the 2010 census.
