Surovikino is a town located in Russia and serves as the administrative center of the Surovikinsky District within the Volgograd Oblast. It is situated at the confluence of the Chir and Don Rivers, approximately 154 kilometers (96 mi) west of Volgograd, which is the administrative center of the oblast.
According to census data, the population of Surovikino was 20,533 in 2010. This follows a recorded population of 20,338 in 2002 and 18,336 during the 1989 Soviet census.
