Kamyshin is a city located in the Volgograd Oblast region of Russia. It is situated on the right bank of the Volgograd Reservoir of the Volga River, specifically within the estuary of the Kamyshinka River.
According to census data, the population of the city was 119,565 as of 2010. Previous records indicate a population of 127,891 in 2002 and 122,463 during the 1989 Soviet census.
