Frolovo is a town located in the Volgograd Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the Archeda River, approximately 148 kilometers (92 miles) north of Volgograd, which serves as the administrative center of the oblast.
According to census data, the population of Frolovo has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 39,449, following figures of 41,132 in 2002 and 41,680 during the 1989 Soviet census.
