Lakinsk

Lakinsk is a town situated in the Sobinsky District of the Vladimir Oblast in Russia. It is located on the left bank of the Klyazma River, approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) southwest of Vladimir, which serves as the administrative center of the oblast.

According to census data, the population of Lakinsk has seen a steady decline over several decades. The population was recorded at 18,918 during the 1989 Soviet census, decreasing to 17,086 in 2002, 15,715 in 2010, and reaching 12,861 by the 2021 census.
