Sengiley is a town located in the Ulyanovsk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Sengileyevsky District and is situated on the right bank of the Kuybyshev Reservoir.
The town is positioned approximately 72 kilometers (45 miles) south of Ulyanovsk, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population of Sengiley was 6,958 as of 2010, following a decline from 8,396 in 2002 and 10,366 during the 1989 Soviet census.
