Syumsi is a rural locality located in the Udmurt Republic of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Syumsinsky District.
According to census data, the population of the locality has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 5,316 residents, following figures of 5,645 in 2002 and 5,534 during the 1989 Soviet census.
