Ak-Dovurak is a town located in the Tuva Republic of Russia. It is situated along the Khemchik River, approximately 301 kilometers (187 miles) west of the regional capital, Kyzyl.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 13,468 residents, following a count of 12,965 in 2002 and 15,191 during the 1989 Soviet census.
