Yalutorovsk is a town located in the Tyumen Oblast region of Russia. It is situated on the Tobol River, approximately 75 kilometers (47 miles) southeast of the city of Tyumen.
According to census data, the population of the town has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 36,493, following figures of 36,088 in 2002 and 36,841 during the 1989 Soviet census.
