Zubtsov is a town located in the Tver Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Zubtsovsky District and is situated at the confluence of the Volga and Vazuza Rivers.
The town is positioned approximately 153 kilometers (95 miles) south of Tver, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population was recorded at 6,927 in 2010, following previous counts of 7,430 in 2002 and 7,630 in 1989.
