Zapadnaya Dvina is a town located in the Tver Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center for the Zapadnodvinsky District and is situated on the right bank of the Daugava River.
The town is positioned approximately 321 kilometers (199 miles) southwest of Tver, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population was recorded at 9,378 in 2010, following a decline from 10,212 in 2002 and 11,556 during the 1989 Soviet census.
