Konakovo is a town located in the Tver Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center for the Konakovsky District and is situated on the right bank of the Ivankovo Reservoir.
According to census data, the population of the town has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 41,291, following figures of 42,335 in 2002 and 42,522 during the 1989 Soviet census.
