Kireyevsk is a town located in Russia that serves as the administrative center of the Kireyevsky District. It is situated on the Olen River, approximately 40 kilometers southeast of Tula, which is the administrative center of the Tula Oblast.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 25,557, following a count of 26,284 in 2002 and 30,503 during the 1989 Soviet census.
