Kimovsk is a town located in the Tula Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Kimovsky District and is situated at the watershed of the Don and Volga Rivers.
The town is positioned approximately 77 kilometers southeast of Tula, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population was recorded at 28,485 in 2010, following a decline from 33,169 in 2002 and 38,294 in 1989.
