Kargasok is a rural locality situated in Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Kargasoksky District within the Tomsk Oblast region.
The settlement is located on the left bank of the Ob River, approximately 460 kilometers (290 miles) from Tomsk, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population was recorded at 8,127 in 2010, following figures of 8,547 in 2002 and 8,450 in the 1989 Soviet census.
