Menzelinsk is a town located in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Menzelinsky District and is situated on the Menzelya River near its confluence with the Kama River.
The town is positioned approximately 292 kilometers (181 miles) from Kazan, the capital of the republic. According to census data, the population was recorded at 16,476 in 2010, following a previous count of 16,730 in 2002.
