Mendeleyevsk is a town located in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Mendeleyevsky District and is situated on the right bank of the Nizhnekamskoye Reservoir.
The town is positioned approximately 238 kilometers (148 miles) from Kazan, which is the capital of the republic. According to the 2010 Census, the population of Mendeleyevsk was 22,075.
