Bavly

Bavly is a town located in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. It is situated on the Bavly River, approximately 369 kilometers (229 miles) southeast of the regional capital, Kazan.

According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 1989 Soviet census recorded a population of 20,025, which rose to 22,939 in 2002 and settled at 22,109 by the 2010 census.
