Morshansk is a town located in the Tambov Oblast region of Russia. It is situated on the Tsna River, approximately 93 kilometers north of the city of Tambov.
According to census data, the population of Morshansk has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 41,556, following figures of 44,486 in 2002 and 50,055 during the 1989 Soviet census.
