Verkhnyaya Pyshma is a town located in the Sverdlovsk Oblast region of Russia. It is situated approximately 1 kilometer north of the city of Yekaterinburg.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 59,749, following a figure of 58,016 in 2002 and 53,102 during the 1989 Soviet census.
