Sredneuralsk is a town located in the Sverdlovsk Oblast of Russia. It sits on the shore of Iset Lake at the head of the Iset River, situated approximately 25 kilometers north of the city of Yekaterinburg.
The town falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Town of Verkhnyaya Pyshma. According to census data, the population was recorded as 19,555 in a more recent count, following a 2010 census figure of 20,449 and an 18,786 figure from the 1989 Soviet census.
