Polevskoy is a town located in the Sverdlovsk Oblast of Russia. It is situated approximately 50 kilometers southwest of Yekaterinburg, which serves as the administrative center of the oblast.
According to census data, the population of Polevskoy has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 64,220, following figures of 66,761 in 2002 and 70,632 in the 1989 Soviet census.
