Krasnoufimsk is a town located in the Sverdlovsk Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the banks of the Ufa River, approximately 224 kilometers (139 miles) away from the city of Yekaterinburg.
According to census data, the population of Krasnoufimsk has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 39,765, following a count of 43,595 in 2002 and 45,618 during the 1989 Soviet census.
