Ivdel is a town located in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the Russian Federation. It is situated in the northeastern part of Siberia, within the Lena River basin.
The settlement serves as a regional center and is primarily known for its involvement in the mining industry. Due to its location in the Siberian wilderness, it is characterized by an extreme continental climate with very cold winters and short summers.
