Mineralnye Vody is a town located in the Stavropol Krai region of Russia. It is situated along the Kuma River and serves as a point on the main rail line connecting Rostov-on-Don in Russia to Baku in Azerbaijan.
According to census data, the population of the town has shown gradual growth over several decades, recorded at 70,961 during the 1989 Soviet census, 75,644 in 2002, and 76,728 in 2010.
