Mozdok is a town located in Russia and serves as the administrative center of the Mozdoksky District within the republic of North Ossetia–Alania. It is situated on the left shore of the Terek River, approximately 92 kilometers (57 miles) north of Vladikavkaz, which is the capital of the republic.
According to the 2010 Census, the population of Mozdok was 38,768. The town functions as a primary administrative hub for its surrounding district in the region.
