Novouzensk

Novouzensk is a town located in Russia and serves as the administrative center of the Novouzensky District within the Saratov Oblast. It is situated on the left bank of the Bolshoy Uzen River at the point where it meets the Chertanly River, approximately 202 kilometers (126 miles) southeast of the oblast's administrative center, Saratov.

According to census data, the population of the town has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 17,011, following figures of 16,881 in 2002 and 16,589 during the 1989 Soviet census.
