Arkadak is a town and the administrative center of the Arkadaksky District in the Saratov Oblast region of Russia. It is situated on the Bolshoy Arkadak River near its confluence with the Khopyor river, approximately 248 kilometers (154 miles) west of Saratov, which serves as the oblast's administrative center.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 12,845, following figures of 14,438 in 2002 and 14,244 during the 1989 Soviet census.
