Novokuybyshevsk is a city located in the Samara Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the eastern bank of the Volga River, positioned approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) away from the water's edge.
According to census data, the city has maintained a relatively stable population over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 108,438, following figures of 112,987 in the 1989 Soviet census and 112,973 in 2002.
