Borogontsy is a rural locality located in the Sakha Republic, Russia. It serves as the administrative centre of the Myuryunsky Rural Okrug within the Ust-Aldansky District. The locality is one of three settlements in the okrug, the others being Myndaba and Tomtor.
According to census data, the population of Borogontsy was 5,222 as of 2010, reflecting a decrease from the 5,458 residents recorded during the 2002 Census. The settlement functions as the primary administrative hub for the three subordinated settlements in its rural okrug.
