Spassk-Ryazansky is a town located in the Ryazan Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Spassky District and is situated on the shores of Lake Spasskoye.
The town is positioned approximately 55 kilometers (34 miles) southeast of Ryazan, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population was 7,745 in 2010, following a decline from 8,858 in 2002 and 9,835 in the 1989 Soviet census.
