Ryazhsk is a town located in the Ryazan Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Ryazhsky District and is situated approximately 115 kilometers (71 mi) south of Ryazan, which is the administrative center of the oblast.
According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 21,674, following a count of 22,850 in 2002 and 27,217 in 1989.
