Novomichurinsk is a town located in the Pronsky District of the Ryazan Oblast region in Russia. It is situated on the banks of the Pronya River, approximately 85 kilometers (53 miles) south of Ryazan, which serves as the administrative center of the oblast.
The population of the town has remained relatively stable over recent decades. According to census data, the population was recorded at 19,610 in the 1989 Soviet census, 20,743 in 2002, and 19,309 in 2010.
