Zernograd is a town located in Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Zernogradsky District within the Rostov Oblast region.
The town is situated approximately 71 kilometers (44 miles) southeast of Rostov-on-Don, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to census data, the population was recorded at 26,842 in 2010, following a previous count of 28,840 in 2002 and 26,097 during the 1989 Soviet census.
