Semikarakorsk is a town located in the Rostov Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Semikarakorsky District and is situated on the left bank of the Don River.
The town is positioned approximately 137 kilometers (85 miles) northeast of Rostov-on-Don, which is the administrative center of the oblast. According to the 2010 census, the population of Semikarakorsk was 23,884, following a slight decrease from previous census figures recorded in 2002 and 1989.
