Sebezh is a town located in the Pskov Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Sebezhsky District and is situated approximately 117 kilometers (117 mi) south of Pskov, which is the administrative center of the oblast.
The town is set in a picturesque location between Lakes Sebezhskoye and Orono. According to census data, the population was recorded at 6,375 in 2010, following previous counts of 7,138 in 2002 and 9,497 during the 1989 Soviet census.
