Pskov is a city located in northwestern Russia. It serves as the administrative center of Pskov Oblast and is situated on the Velikaya River, approximately 20 kilometers east of the Estonian border.
According to census data, the population of the city has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2021 census recorded a population of 193,082, following figures of 203,279 in 2010 and 202,780 in 2002.
