Bolotnoye is a town located in the Novosibirsk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Bolotninsky District and is situated approximately 126 kilometers (78 miles) northeast of Novosibirsk, which is the administrative center of the oblast.

According to census data, the population of the town has fluctuated over recent decades. The population was recorded at 20,006 during the 1989 Soviet census, decreasing to 18,170 in 2002 and further to 16,570 by the 2010 census.
