Borovichi is a city located in the Novgorod Oblast region of Russia. It is situated on the Msta River within the northern spurs of the Valdai Hills, positioned approximately 194 kilometers (121 mi) east of Veliky Novgorod, which serves as the administrative center of the oblast.
As of the 2010 Census, Borovichi had a population of 53,690. It is recognized as the second largest town in the Novgorod Oblast.
