Vyksa is a town located in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the Oka River, approximately 186 kilometers (116 mi) southwest of the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
According to census data, the population of Vyksa was 56,201 as of 2010. Previous records indicate a population of 61,657 in 2002 and 61,149 during the 1989 Soviet census.
