Kstovo is a town located in Russia and serves as the administrative center of the Kstovsky District. It is situated on the right bank of the Volga River, approximately 22 kilometers southeast of Nizhny Novgorod, which is the administrative center of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
According to census data, the population of the town has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 66,657, compared to 66,944 in 2002 and 62,414 during the 1989 Soviet census.
