Polyarnye Zori is a town located in the Murmansk Oblast of Russia. It is situated on the Niva River and positioned between Lake Imandra and Lake Pinozero, approximately 224 kilometers (139 mi) south of the city of Murmansk.
The settlement is surrounded by several nearby communities, including Zasheek, Pinozero, Nivskiy, and Afrikanda-1,2. According to census data, the population of Polyarnye Zori has fluctuated over time, recorded at 19,428 in 1989, decreasing to 15,910 in 2002, and reaching 14,196 by 2010.
