Kovdor is a town located in the Murmansk Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Kovdorsky District.
The settlement is primarily recognized for its mining industry. According to census data, the population was 18,820 in 2010, following previous counts of 20,867 in 2002 and 30,478 during the 1989 Soviet census.
