Shcherbinka is a town and settlement located in Russia. It was formerly part of the Moscow Oblast before being designated as a federal city subject of Moscow on July 1, 2012. The town is situated approximately 37 kilometers south of the center of Moscow.
According to census data, the population of Shcherbinka has fluctuated over recent decades. In 1989, the Soviet census recorded a population of 28,011; this rose to 28,043 in 2002 and reached 32,450 by the 2010 census.
