Peresvet is a town located in the Sergiyevo-Posadsky District of the Moscow Oblast region in Russia. It is situated on the Kunya River, approximately 90 kilometers (56 mi) northeast of Moscow and 17 kilometers (11 mi) north of Sergiyev Posad, which serves as the administrative center of the district.
According to census data, the town had a population of 14,147 in 2010, following a previous count of 14,719 in 2002.
