Pavlovsky Posad is a town located in the Moscow Oblast of Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Pavlovo-Posadsky District and is situated at the confluence of the Klyazma and Vokhna Rivers, approximately 68 kilometers (42 miles) from Moscow.
According to census data, the town's population has fluctuated over recent decades. The 1989 Soviet census recorded a population of 71,297, which decreased to 63,711 by the 2010 census.
