Lobnya is a town located in the Moscow Oblast region of Russia. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres (19 miles) northwest of the capital city, Moscow.
The population of Lobnya has seen significant growth over recent decades. According to census data, the population was 60,475 in 1989, rose to 61,567 in 2002, reached 74,252 in 2010, and stood at 82,764 as of the 2021 census.
