Kolomna is a historic city located in the Moscow Oblast of Russia. It is situated at the confluence of the Moskva and Oka Rivers, approximately 114 kilometers (71 miles) southeast of Moscow.
The city's population was recorded at 144,589 according to the 2010 census, following a decline from 161,881 in the 1989 Soviet census and 150,129 in the 2002 census.
