Klimovsk is a city located in the Podolsk Urban Okrug of the Moscow Oblast region in Russia. It is situated approximately 55 kilometers (34 mi) south of Moscow and 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) south of the city of Podolsk.
According to census data, the population of Klimovsk has remained relatively stable over recent decades. The 2010 census recorded a population of 56,186, following a figure of 55,644 in 2002 and 56,720 during the 1989 Soviet census.
