Fryazino is a scientific town located in the Moscow Oblast region of Russia. It is situated on the Lyuboseyevka River, which serves as a tributary of the Vorya river system. The town is positioned approximately 25 kilometers northeast of the city of Moscow.
According to census data, Fryazino has experienced steady population growth over several decades. The population was recorded at 53,317 during the 1989 Soviet census, increasing to 52,436 in 2002 and 55,369 in 2010, before reaching a total of 60,580 in 2021.
